摘要: We used the integral equation formulation of scattering elastic waves to generate an approximate solution analogous Born approximation in quantum mechanics. This is attractive because ease with which it may be applied scatterers complicated shapes. investigated validity by comparing exact results for spherical scatterers. Our conclusion voids media that describes well when wavelength incident wave approximately order magnitude larger than scatterer and viewed backscattered directions.
