摘要: This review focuses on the anxiety related to cyclic AMP/protein kinase A (PKA) signaling pathway that regulates stress responses. PKA an array of diverse signals interact with various neurotransmitter systems associated alertness, mood, and acute social anxiety-like states. Recent mouse studies support involvement in common neuropsychiatric disorders characterized by heightened activation amygdala. The amygdala is critical for adaptive responses leading fear learning aberrant memory its widely thought underpin disorders. Stress-induced plasticity within involved transition from normal vigilance emotional reactivity, over-generalization, deficits inhibition resulting pathological conditions, such as panic depression. Human defects also report increased incidence psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. We speculate system uniquely suited selective, molecularly targeted intervention may be proven effective anxiolytic therapy.
