摘要: Two hundred and fifty-three hamsters born between January September 1968 have been continuously tested biweekly for urine glucose ketones from 15 days of age through 1969. They comprise 67 litters out 28 females sired by 19 males 7 inbred lines. — All 46 two severe ketotic diabetic parents become (consistent 4+ Tes-Tape rating). Twenty-five the developed ketonuria 4 + Ketostix While 100% diabetics became within 8 months, incidence diabetes to nonketotic matings was 59%; trace glucosuric 41%; nondiabetic 24%. Diabetes earlier in progeny than those milder diabetics. At 3 weeks, pups were 26% glucosuric, diabetic, 2% 2 months 85% diabetic. descendents mated 16% only 36% Animals severely Chinese are ideally suited prediabetes research since they predictable rapidly as proof their prediabetic state. Progeny less not 59% varied litter same parents. Further, produced offspring. The data suggest that inheritance chinese is complex it cannot be explained a single recessive gene.
