摘要: During the last two decades, knowledge regarding anatomy, biomechanics, and diagnosis of injuries to lateral compartment knee has expanded through numerous basic science clinical outcome studies. The three main structures important for providing stability this region have been identified as fibular collateral ligament, popliteus tendon, popliteofibular ligament. Furthermore, surgical techniques addressing both acute chronic these improved detailed anatomic, biomechanical, investigations reconstruction methods.
