The influence of physical function on the risk of falls among adults with rheumatoid arthritis

摘要: Objetivos: Identificar a prevalencia de quedas nos ultimos 12 meses em pacientes com artrite reumatoide (AR) e verificar influencia da atividade doenca capacidade funcional no risco quedas. Pacientes metodos: Participaram do estudo 43 AR. Foram avaliados os seguintes parâmetros: aspectos clinicos; ocorrencia meses; VHS (mm/h); dor, atraves escala visual analogica (EVA) escore 0 10 cm; doenca, medida pelo Indice Atividade Doenca - 28/VHS (Disease Activity Score 28 DAS-28/VHS); funcional, avaliada Questionario Avaliacao Saude (Health Assessment Questionnaire HAQ); o quedas, avaliado por meio dois testes, teste senta-levanta cadeira cinco vezes (TSL) timed get up and go (TUG). Resultados: A foi 30,2% (13/43). O fator independente que influenciou significativamente desempenho TSL total HAQ, sendo as demais variaveis nao conseguiram contribuir forma significativa na explicacao variabilidade TSL. variavel HAQ responsavel explicar 42,9% (P < 0,001, R2 ajustado = 0,429) As influenciaram TUG.
