摘要: This article details the exploration of perdeuterated acrylic acid at high pressure using neutron diffraction. The structural changes that occur in acid-d4 are followed via diffraction and rationalized Pixel method. Acrylic undergoes a reconstructive phase transition to new ∼0.8 GPa remains molecular 7.2 before polymerizing on decompression ambient pressure. resulting product is analyzed Raman FT-IR spectroscopy differential scanning calorimetry found possess different structure compared with polymers produced traditional routes.
