Tumor M2-pyruvate kinase: a promising tumor marker in the diagnosis of gastro-intestinal cancer.

摘要: The diagnostic value of pyruvate-kinase type tumor M2 (Tumor M2-PK) has been investigated in different tumors, and showed interesting results cases renal cancer, pancreatic lung cancer some gastric cancer. In this study we EDTA-plasma 68 patients with gastrointestinal 22 inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) 60 healthy controls. Sensitivity Tumor M2-PK was 70.6% for all GI-tumors, that CA19-9 55.4% CEA 53.3%. the best sensitivity. oesophageal/gastric most sensitive colorectal results. specificity 90-96, 7%. IBD individuals elevated levels but there no correlation to CRP or clinical activity score. indicated might be a valuable marker
