A comparative study of signal processing methods for structural health monitoring

摘要: In this paper four non-parametric and five parametric signal processing techniques are reviewed their performances compared through application to a sample exponentially damped synthetic with closely-spaced frequencies representing the ambient response of structures. The methods Fourier transform, periodogram estimate power spectral density, wavelet empirical mode decomposition Hilbert analysis (Hilbert-Huang transform). pseudospectrum using multiple categorization (MUSIC), approximate Prony method, matrix pencil estimation parameters by rotational invariance technique (ESPRIT) method. different studied statistically Monte Carlo simulation results presented in terms average errors analyses.
