摘要: The article aims to study the theoretical and empirical foundations of combining free economic zones with industrial clusters. foundation is provided by concept a cumulative circular process theory ‘new geography’. part deals creation cluster-type in Russia Kazakhstan. symbiosis special (SEZs) clusters expected enhance export potential act as powerful catalyst for national innovative development. Establishment within framework existing SEZs can bring these highly efficient projects manufacturing export-oriented products. Methodologically, research relies on systemic structural-functional approaches, logical method formalization well comparative grouping methods applied analyze SEZs. also provides general overview operating Kazakhstan indicates their main types characteristics. practical significance this that its findings be used devise recommendations improving performance both countries, attracting new technologies investments addressing social problems regions.
