摘要: As the usage of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) files in construction industry is on dramatic increase, it often requires effective comparison methods to keep track important changes occurring during the lifecycle construction projects. However, most comparisons are based on a visual inspection, manual count and check selective attributes. Although few techniques about automatic have been developed recently, they usually very time-consuming, sensitive to GUID change or redundant instances files. To address these issues, this paper presents content-based comparison approach, named IFCdiff, for detecting differences between two This approach starts with comprehensive analysis structure content of each file, then constructs its hierarchical along with eliminating instances. Next, structures are compared an iterative bottom-up procedure instead original files. The presented approach fully takes into account content of IFC without need flattening In contrast with previous methods, our can greatly reduce computational time space, result not sensitive re-dundant Finally, we demonstrate potential application to incremental backup software be found at: http://cgcad.thss.tsinghua.edu.cn/liuyushen/ifcdiff/.
