Increased percentages of T cells producing interleukin‐21 in patients with immune thrombocytopenic purpura

摘要: Interleukin (IL)-21, a cytokine which promotes differentiation of Th17, follicular helper T cell and B cells, may play an important role in controlling the autoimmune process immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), acquired organ-specific hemorrhagic disease. The frequencies IL-21-producing cells serum levels IL-21 were determined by flow cytometry analysis ELISA, respectively, 24 ITP patients nine healthy controls. RT-PCR showed that circulating significantly higher than Serum expression with decreased after therapy, suggesting might be ITP.
