摘要: Types I and II cyclic adenosine 3':5'-monophosphate (cAMP)-dependent protein kinases have been studied during the cell cycle of Chinese hamster ovary cells. cells were synchronized by selective detachment mitotic from monolayer cultures. Protein separated DEAE-cellulose chromatography similar to types cAMP-dependent in skeletal muscle heart extracts. The total amount activity per was substantial, both mitosis at G1/S boundary. During mitosis, relatively high kinase due a predominance type kinase. early G1, decreased there little detectable activity. A rapid increase evident administration puromycin (50 mug/ml) 1 5 hours after abolished seen border, but had no observable effect on data presented demonstrate cycle-specific patterns Type is constant throughout cycle. Increased seems be related initiation DNA synthesis S phase. suggest translational control
