摘要: A novel scheme of all-optical analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) based on polarization modulation and wavelength-dependent birefringence is proposed experimentally demonstrated. modulator a beam splitter are employed to realize modulation-to-intensity conversion. Thanks the in section polarization-maintaining fiber, phase-shift optical quantization obtained by adjusting wavelength spacing multiwavelength pulse laser array. proof-of-concept experiment performed. An ADC with 16 levels an effective number bits 3.7 demonstrated using 8 different wavelengths identical interval.
