摘要: Recently, it was reported that gold nanoprisms in a monolayer array on quartz substrate were ejected air when irradiated with femtosecond laser pulses near their surface plasmon absorption maximum. It deduced from the measured reduction particle thickness upon irradiation ejection mechanism involved ablation of atoms particle, which generates an intense pressure at particle−substrate interface. The present study reports this phenomenon substrate-bound nanoparticle is immersed liquid environment. In system, found requires less than one tenth energy required if system air. also to increase instead decrease observed These results suggest another photoinitiated mechanism, different ablation, particles are surrounded by From and other spectroscopic microscopi...
