摘要: In the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging (BLSA), we examined temporal unfolding declining performance on tests episodic memory (Free Recall Free and Cued Selective Reminding Test), executive function (Category Fluency, Letter Trails), Verbal Intelligence (Nelson, 1982; American Version Nelson Adult Reading Test [AMNART]) before diagnosis dementia in 92 subjects with incident Alzheimer's disease (AD) followed for up to 15 years diagnosis. To examine preclinical onset cognitive decline, aligned at time initial AD course preceding We found that declines accelerated 7 Declining 2-3 diagnosis, verbal intelligence declined close proximity This profile is compatible pathologic data suggesting structures which mediate are affected earlier than frontal during AD. It also supports view VIQ as estimated by AMNART does not decline
