摘要: Abstract The composition of ash deposits formed in biomass combustion systems can be significantly modified by the sulfation alkali salts. In order to assess efficiency this process, conversion chlorides into sulfates occurring at surface temperatures representative those boilers (350–650 °C) was quantified means specific short-term experiments with realistic deposits. influence operating conditions (reaction time, temperature and sulfur concentration) characterized results were used derive a kinetic expression for in-deposit KCl. This kinetics compared proposed other authors solid NaCl molten Contrary previous NaCl, but agreement observations KCl calculations KCl, predicts relevant effect on properties biomass-firing even scale.
