摘要: The formulation and implementation of public policies across organizational sectoral boundaries through coalitions, contracts networks comprises the act governing, otherwise known as governance. Two theoretic traditions tend to form a loose focus for studies governance: sociological institutionalism rational choice. Where former examines actors' joint relationships norms, latter analyzes individual interests information. Scholars are often at loss how cumulate insights knowledge traditions, these different analytic foci can be difficult reconcile. This article distinguishes domains governance in order better understand two conflict support one another, well identifies theories that use study each domain. from compared case rail transit project, which also includes an assessment quality complementarities their offered explanations. Propositions about comparative utility concepts understanding key phenomena generated by analysis case.
