摘要: Abstract Theories and experiments on plasmons in homogeneous two-dimensional (2D) systems will be reviewed. In detail we discuss the plasmon excitation laterally microstructured systems. Metal-oxide-semiconductor devices AlGaAs-GaAs heterojunctions have been fabricated where originally 2D charge density is spatially modulated. For periodicities of modulation submicron range superlattice effects dispersion are observed. GaAs also nonlocal discussed.
