摘要: After years of being viewed with distrust and challenged medicolegal initiative (see reviews by: Aman, 1985; Aman & Singh, 1986; Plotkin Gill, 1979; Sprague, 1982), there has been a resurgence interest in the use psychotropic medications to treat behavioral emotional disturbances persons developmental disabilities (Aman, 1983). This stimulated, large part, by growing awareness that mentally retarded exhibit full spectrum mental disorders can be treated all types psychiatric therapies (Corbett, Gostason, Lund, Reid, 1972a, 1972b; 1982; Sovner Hurley, 1983; Wright, 1982).
