摘要: Aqueous Ni2+ removal by structural Fe(II) hydroxides (SFH) under well-controlled experimental conditions was investigated in this study, and a possible mechanism for release from solid products revealed. Experiments with SFH showed the excellent reactivity of towards aqueous when molar ratio [Fe(II)]/[OH−] below 1 : 2. The reaction started adsorption precipitation Ni2+, followed reduction Ni(II) substitution formation Ni(II)/Fe(III) layered double hydroxides. However, at long time, Ni(OH)2 NixFe(1−x)(OH)2 precipitates observed due to delivery dissolved Fe2+ Fe3+, which were determined substitute forming Fe(OH)2, Fe(OH)3 FeIII(1+2x/3)FeII(1−x)(OH)5. presence O2 NO3− reduced efficiency promoted its consuming promoting Fe3+ delivery. CO32− PO43− might enhance inhibit release. For wastewater containing high concentration, using is also beneficial recycling, as removed could be released enriched, future utilization.
