摘要: This review aims to examine new literature and clinical practice guidelines on the diagnosis management of hypertension in children along with potential impact recommendations. Hypertension is underrecognized underdiagnosed practice. Tools for improving may include prompts electronic medical records, use a blood pressure screening table, standardized thresholds adolescents. The recent AAP guideline developed tables lower norms that increase percentage diagnosed elevated hypertension. In this high cardiovascular-risk population, therapeutic lifestyle modifications remain fundamental strategy. There more evidence demonstrating importance identification childhood. New tools strategies improve recognition treatment as number at risk increases.
