摘要: Pulsed Fourier transform NMR spectroscopy was used to obtain 129Xe chemical shifts in gases with densities of xenon much lower than ever before observed. At 3–28 amagat, the contamination desired linear term shielding by contributions due three‐body or higher order interactions is completely eliminated. This allows determination very precise values σ1(T) for xenon, krypton, and argon gas.
