摘要: A rhombic grid array antenna (RGAA) is proposed and its frequency-scanning performance discussed. The RGAA has numerous bent radiation elements, forming cells loops. As the frequency increased, beam from becomes a forward-fire beam. It found that, as bend angle of elements decreased, useful characteristics shift to lower region. also that provides more stable gain within band bounded by 3- 4-guided-wavelength resonances loops, compared with conventional having non-bent elements. Further investigation reveals VSWR small 4-guided wavelength resonances, desired, contribute increasing efficiency.
