摘要: Abstract Microbial residues can be a significant component of soil organic matter, and their amino sugars are integrative indicators biologically relevant ecosystem properties. We evaluate the impact attributes, microbial functional group biomass, cropping system type on sugar profiles in three model biofuel systems southern Wisconsin, USA. Total carbon clay content explained differences profiles, with glucosamine galactosamine more strongly related to muramic acid associated content. Amino were not correlated or lipid abundance, suggesting among locations due legacy properties such as total carbon, culture age rather than current biotic drivers. The disconnect between composition legacies past activity suggests that should considered trajectories over time static
