摘要: Data from the third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES III) provide a clear picture of malocclusion in US population. Noticeable incisor irregularity occurs majority all racial/ethnic groups, with only 35% adults having well-aligned mandibular incisors. Irregularity is severe enough 15% that both social acceptability function could be affected, major arch expansion or extraction some teeth would required for correction.
