摘要: Optical vortices have great potentials in optical communications, quantum computations, micro-manipulations and so on. At present, fast switching reconfiguring of these beam are still challenges. We proposed a blue phase liquid crystal fork grating by applying vertical electric field with forked electrode to the polymer stabilized cell. A shaped profile alternation isotropic ordinary refractive indices lateral direction is thus obtained. Both gratings array different topological charges demonstrated. They permit rapid vortex charge tuning, also exhibit excellent polarization independency high efficiency.
