摘要: Abstract To assess the prevalence and clinical significance of δ-infection in chronic hepatitis B surface antigen carriers, we examined 326 liver biopsies from 192 retrospectively selected carriers by immunofluorescence. Delta was detected 102 specimens 50 (26.2%) with peak patients active cirrhosis (51.5%) generally close association progressive disease (94%). The located nuclei 2%–50% hepatocytes, without any disease-specific pattern fluorescence. Patients intrahepatic delta-antigen, however, had more severe than those it. Histologic follow-up 101 cases showed that rates worsening were similar delta-antigen-positive delta-antigen-negative patients. It is concluded delta-superinfection does play a role histologic picture antigen-positive hepatitis, possibly injury induced acutely at moment infection.
