摘要: Nanotechnology is one of the most exciting disciplines and it incorporates physics, chemistry, materials science, biology. It can be applied to design cancer medicines with improved therapeutic indices. At basic level, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) graphene are sp2 nanomaterials. Their unique physical chemical properties make them interesting candidates research in a wide range areas including biological systems different diseases. Recent has been focused on exploring potential CNTs as carrier or vehicle for intracellular transport drugs, proteins, targeted genes vitro vivo. Several groups actively involved find out functional CNT capable transporting drug molecules animal models least toxicity. Current investigations also graphene, an allotrope carbon, which appears promising agent successful delivery biomolecules various models. But clinical implementations still hampered by distinctive barriers such poor bioavailability intrinsic toxicity, pose difficulties tumor targeting penetration well improving outcome. This article presents recent progresses evaluation closely related experimental therapy explores their implications bringing nanomedicines into clinics.
