摘要: Summary This is the case of a 2-year-old child who had frequent colds and sore throats. There been loss weight, low-grade fever, generalized lymphadenopathy. The blood picture was that an anemia with low normal white count relative lymphocytosis. X-rays bones suggested leucemic process. occurrence diabetes insipidus xanthomatosis. Biopsy bone marrow on two occasions did not yield information importance, but lymph node showed lesions suggesting tuberculosis. At autopsy there were miliary in several organs stronglysuggested These “epithelioid” cells, no necrosis some giant cells. latter particularly numerous nodes where more diffuse. In spleen tubercles contained unusual amount hemosiderin, although only few nodules, extensive fibrosis. marrow, similarly, nodules fibrosis present. may be one tuberculosis absence necrosissuggests it type usually described as Boeck's sarcoid. differentiation these conditions has always matter discussion yet settled whether sarcoid is, indeed, form patient much younger than usual cases
