摘要: Anthocyanins, which accumulate in leaves and stems response to low temperature changes light intensity, are synthesized through the phenylpropanoid pathway that is controlled by key enzymes include phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) chalcone synthase (CHS). In this work we demonstrate PAL CHS mRNAs of Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. upon exposure a light-dependent manner. The regulation PAL1 gene expression was examined analyzing [beta]-glucuronidase (uidA) reporter transgenic plants containing uidA Escherichia coli under control promoter. results indicate accumulation mRNA transcriptionally regulated. Histochemical staining for activity showed promoter preferentially activated photosynthetically active cells, paralleling anthocyanin accumulation. Moreover, show may also be implicated bacterial infiltration. Finally, using two transparent testa mutants unable anthocyanins, these pigments not required successful development freezing tolerance species.
