摘要: Research in the field of anthropology supports notion that music is a universal feature human society and foundational capacity for all (Dissanayake, 2000, 2006, 2009, 2012; Mithen, 2005, 2009). Music an important part our collective celebrations statements beliefs, values, issues, integral component growth development. Through phenomenon Communicative Musicality (Malloch, 2000; Malloch & Trevarthen, 2010), lays down foundations connectedness, identity work, language as infants caregivers engage musical exchanges promote bonding, communication, participation rituals, traditions, languages infant’s culture (Barrett 2011a, 2012, 2016a, 2016b). When we recognize fundamental role individual development, education some form has been aspect existence millennia. Despite this continuous history experience, what constitutes (formal, informal, non-formal) shaped by range diverse forces. Furthermore, how enacted experienced rest intersecting factors including age, ethnicity, gender, religion, social class, caste, geographic location. In chapter, explore these forces provide examples from research projects to illustrate ways which impact on experience sustainability education.
