摘要: The localization of immunolabelled antimicrobial peptides was studied using transmission electron microscopy. Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were exposed to lactoferricin B (17–41), (17–31) D-lactoferricin (17–31). E. also cecropin P1 magainin 2. lactoferricins found in the cytoplasm both bacteria. In S. amount cytoplasmic (17–41) time- concentration-dependent, reaching a maximum within 30 min. Cecropin confined cell wall, while 2 coli. finding intracellularly localized is not reported previously.
