摘要: In this work, the use of a portable Raman spectrometer is evaluated for non-invasive analysis two types pre-ignited improvised incendiary devices (IIDs), classic Molotov cocktails and chemical ignition (CIMCs). The most common ignitable liquids (ILs) used to make (gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene ethanol) were measured in seven different clear colored glass bottles evaluate if container features could hamper measurements. results showed that can be employed detect ILs without disturbances. Chemical changes on are produced when they mixed with acid; therefore, CIMCs required an investigation how time movement influence Thus, IL-sulfuric acid mixtures commonly (gasoline-sulfuric fuel-sulfuric acid) over under static motion conditions. spite intense fluorescence encountered both CIMCs, it was possible identify gasoline first hours reaction experiments. Concerning fuel present CIMC, underwent instantaneous measurement conditions, showing high impeded its identification. view achieved, useful instrument rapid, safe IIDs.
