摘要: The advent of deep ocean technology has created a need buoyancy at ever increasing depths. This paper concerns itself with two most widely used techniques for dewatering/deballasting, compressed air supplied by surface maintained compressors and high pressure gases contained in vessels. The objective the is to examine effects on these various parameters which, author's opinion, are often overlooked design engineers. results significant degradation system under actual operating conditions. The principal involved structural integrity, geometric properties, material properties variance real gas sea water density.
