摘要: Abstract Due to the material or geometrical discontinuities, stress, electric displacement and magnetic induction may become theoretically infinite singular at vertexes of magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) V-notches, where mechanical failure dielectric breakdown initiate from. Based on assumption asymptotic expansions physical fields near vertex, characteristic differential equations with respect singularity order are derived from equilibrium Maxwell equations. After a set variable replacement, these non-linear transformed into linear ones. The traditional iterative method for solving transcendental equation is avoided. mechanical, boundary conditions together interfacial continuity also expressed by combination angular functions. analyses MEE V-notches problem ordinary coefficients. orders functions can be introducing interpolating matrix solve established Herein, singularities in-plane anti-plane respectively investigated. influence poling direction discussed. role volume fraction BaTiO 3 inclusions studied. obtained results used design products reducing induced V-notch.
