摘要: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and acute injury (AKI) requiring renal replacement therapy (RRT) by dialysis are rare conditions in pediatric patients. In patients with CKD, is mainly performed using peritoneal (PD) or intermittent hemodialysis (HD). AKI, continuous (CRRT) hemofiltration, hemodialysis, both techniques can be used. This chapter reviews (1) physiology epidemiology of children (2) pharmacokinetic principles to considered for developing dose recommendations under different modalities. Methods calculating predicting drug clearance reviewed; scaling approaches from data obtained adults discussed.
