摘要: Abstract The performance of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) with gas diffusion cathodes having the catalyst layer applied directly onto Nafion membranes is investigated aim at characterizing effects content, loading in electrode and also thickness gases pressures. At high current densities best was found for 0.35 mg Nafion cm −2 (15 wt.%), while low better higher contents. It observed that decrease usual Pt from 0.4 to ca. 0.1 mg Pt cm possible, without introducing serious problems performance. A favors all ranges densities. When pure oxygen supplied cathode thinner there positive effect increase O 2 pressure, which raises very values (>4.0A cm , 112—50 μm). This trend not apparent thicker membranes, negligible pressure For H /air PEMFCs, seen even thick membranes.
