摘要: TPV technology has advanced rapidly in the last five years, with diode conversion efficiency approaching >30%, and filter of ∼80%. These achievements have enabled repeatable testing 20% efficient small systems, demonstrating potential energy conversion. Near term gains support a 25% demonstration two year timeframe. However, full size which includes degradation mechanisms, such as: non‐uniform illumination, variability, temperature non‐uniformities, conduction/convection losses, lifetime reliability processes needs to be performed. A preliminary analysis these differential effects been completed, indicates near integrated system ∼15% is possible using current technology, long growth 18–20%. This report addresses performance issues.
