摘要: An apparatus and methods for effectively determining the start of combustion in a cylinder an internal engine where is calculated by obtaining pressure data (P), processing (P) into processed value indicative occurrence SOC, comparing to predetermined threshold value, if crosses that SOC has occurred, calculating crank shaft location at which was crossed thereby identifying occurred. In alternative embodiments, optional steps may be provided including verification step, windowing filtering misfire, retarded timing.
