摘要: A method, system, and method of doing business in a standards-based medical imaging environment is described relation to the communication computer-aided detection (CAD) results among devices, with one embodiment relating DICOM standard. CAD are fixably integrated into pixels secondary image derived from source image, transferred using Secondary Capture Image Information Object Instance (SCI-IOI). The SCI-IOI viewing workstation, whereby clinician can open, manipulate, view side-by-side comparison or derivative images thereof. Advantageously, communicated DICOM-conforming manner independent whether workstation supports standard accommodations, such as Structured Report Instances (CAD SR-IOIs), for type that need be presented. Optionally, an equipment information entity identifier SR-IOI and/or modified change shield identity manufacturer processing unit.
