摘要: A study has been made of the healing a narrow deep injury to rabbit aortic endothelium which also involves damage media vessel. The was produced using nylon catheter containing wire filament; approximately 150 micron in width and damaged up 3 elastic lamellae. Immediately after platelet aggregates were observed over injured areas, several hours later large numbers leukocytes seen adhere. Two days non-thrombogenic neointimal surface deeply areas; endothelial cells could be identified covering area at 6 days. process following directly compared with superficial similar width, where are removed without significant vessel [1]. results show that (a) aorta causes aggregation proliferation smooth muscle occurs, (b) despite disruption subendothelial components, rapidly regenerates area, although not as quickly for injury.
