摘要: There is a resurgence of interest in using phenotypic plasticity, ‘the environmentally sensitive production alternative phenotypes by given genotypes’, as framework the study evolutionary biology. The term developmental plasticity describes more specific strand investigation dealing with how alterations to processes and outcomes shape such induced variation. Nested within notion heterokairy, potential single genotype alter timing event (e.g. onset particular structure, function or components that function), response an environmental signal influence. Here we make case for heterokairy way focusing on altered across different biological disciplines, suggest road map approach. Heterokairy interdisciplinary could be used (a) bring together substantial knowledge currently available sensitive, genetic hormonal control transitions, (b) embed events (c) highlight role can play adaptive evolution, particularly global change.
