Spreadsheet fields in text

摘要: A system architecture integrates spreadsheet functionality into text. The allows insertion of discrete individual fields, referred to as “free floating fields”, inline with normal textual sentences. In an HTML document, for example, the free fields are elements constructed along text and rendered together integrated document. Once rendered, present contents that resemble consistent surrounding offer functionality, including ability handle complex formulas, reference values in a separate field or table, automatically recalculate formulas when source value changes.
