摘要: Disclosed is a method for making polystyrene foam which utilizes one or more atmospheric gases, particularly combinations of HFCs and CO 2 , as the blowing system in combination with polymer processing aid (PPA), typically an ester that relatively non-volatile at extrusion temperature range. The PPA may both be introduced into molten thermoplastic resin incorporated solid source resins. resulting foams will exhibit improved dimensional stability ambient temperatures.
