TREATMENT OF PERNICIOUS ANEMIA BY A SPECIAL DIET

摘要: This paper concerns the treatment in a series of forty-five cases pernicious anemia which patients were given special form diet. While problem diet is by no means new, our opinion its possible importance has not heretofore been generally recognized. In 1863, seven years after publication Addison's second, but best known, description disease now called anemia, Habershon1wrote concerning this condition: "Many at an early stage completely recover under influence bracing air and nutrient stimulating diet."
