摘要: We report the existence of zero-energy surface states localized at zigzag edges bilayer graphene. Working within tight-binding approximation we derive analytic solution for wave functions these peculiar states. It is shown that edge in graphene can be divided into two families: (i) living only on a single plane, equivalent to monolayer and (ii) with finite amplitude over layers, an enhanced penetration bulk. The bulk (edge) electronic structure nanoribbons also studied, both absence presence bias voltage between planes.
