User-centered virtual reality for promoting relaxation: An innovative approach

摘要: Virtual reality has been used effectively to promote relaxation and reduce stress. It is possible find two main approaches achieve such aims across the literature. The first one focused on generic environments filled with relaxing “narratives” induce control over one’s own body physiological response, while second engages user in virtual reality-mediated activities empower his/her abilities regulate emotion. scope of present contribution extend discourse VR use relaxation, by proposing a third approach. This would be based personalized content, research identify important life events. As step, distinctive features events may rendered symbols, or other contents. According literature, it that an approach obtain more sophisticated long-lasting users. explores this innovative theoretical proposal its potential applications within future interventions.
