摘要: In conclusion, mitral reconstruction via an annuloplasty ring effectively corrects regurgitation in cardiomyopathy patients and is a safe procedure high-risk population with acceptable operative mortality rate. Not only has survival these improved but also functional status changed remarkably. The effects of this severe myocardial dysfunction may be attributed to decrease the regurgitant orifice area, improvement efficiency each contraction better effective forward flow, increase coronary flow reserve, reversal some alterations neurohormonal changes seen heart failure. These all contribute restoration normal left ventricular geometric relationship. While longer-term follow-up necessary greater number patients, we are encouraged by results feel that offers new strategy for end-stage cardiomyopathy.
