摘要: The use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) has grown dramatically in recent years, as research on the safety efficacy CAM treatments. Minimal attention, however, been devoted to ethical issues relating to CAM. We argue that public health demand rigorous research evaluating therapies, should adhere same ethical requirements for all clinical research, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials be used assessing treatments whenever feasible ethically justifiable. In addition, we explore legitimacy of providing conventional therapies have demonstrated to be effective only by virtue placebo effect.
