摘要: During the past decades there has been a great accumulation of important data on diffusion water molecules in polymeric solids and its effect mechanical viscoelastic behavior polymers. It become apparent that many cases polymers as well exhibits features cannot be expected from classical theories such departures are related to molecular structure characteristics In present investigation, an epoxy resin system is studied function absorbed water, temperature, time immersion. Water sorption was achieved by immersing material distilled at constant temperature 60°C 80°C for 2, 5, 8, 13, 32, 74, 128, 266, 512, 1024, 1536 h. Subsequently specimens were tested static dynamic three-point bending tests study their behavior. The variation Tg, tan δ, modulus, strength measured exposure respective percentage uptake both temperatures. Some anomalies due absorption observed, model description experimentally observed hygrothermal aging proposed. results show predictions good agreement with experimental findings. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
